Thought I'd post here as a backup, but it is also posted on our local site.

The Pancacke House at I25 and Belleview (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif)

I'm going to say 9:30, but if someone wants it at 10, so be it

Pretty sure I can make it...

We better put Brew on your ass, just to make sure you get here on time. It seemed to work last time. I tried to pick a location as close to the freeway, and a straight line away, as possible so you wouldn't get lost.

Hopefully you'll have your new wheels on by Sunday. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif) It might help with your Speed. although with the higher RPMS you'll be running, you'll be driving slower than your speedometer indicates. So it will probably have the opposite effect. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I was planning on leaving at 4:00 am Sunday in order to get there on time. Thankfully I can get that extra hour of sleep. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
I will bring some extra fuse's for ya... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bootyshake.gif)

Brian -
Denver is NORTH of Colorado Springs
Take I25 NORTH

As a reference point, The Mountains are always West, and the Sun rises in the East. So now I've narrowed your chances to 50/50 of finding North

There is also a stretch of highway where the speed limit reaches 75 MPH. Please do not get scared and turn around . You will make it through.

Greg,
you overlooked a small detail.
the sun isn't up at 4am
and its so dang dark that Brian won't be able to see the mountains yet...

the odds are back to fate's-guess now.

good point Brant

hmmmm (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

Brian,
In the morning, put a small amount of water into a bowl. Find a pin, not a pen, from one of those new shirts you bought, for those many job interviews you've just had. Find a leaf in your yard (it's Fall brian, this shouldn't be too hard). Drop the leaf into the bowl, and put the pin on top of the leaf. (If the leaf sinks, you probably used a pen, not a pin.) Wait a few seconds, and it should :fingerscrossed: point north. Get in your car and follow that bearing. Godspeed, my tall southern neighbor (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I was supposed to leave at noon today, but it's a good thing I didn't. You know.... five nine is a perfectly acceptable height, especially in Asia. Then there's the "better looking" thing, well, that's totally subjective, and according to some very attractive girls at Cheetahs, I look just fine. Before it becomes an issue, I'm not fat, I'm big boned, and I lost 10 pounds, only 30 more to go. I'm married, so it doesn't much matter if I'm losing my hair, and my wife says she likes me better this way... not that I believer her, but it's nice of her to say.

Oh, and my screen name is LvSteveH, not LvHSteve... thanks Greg. Now I'm going to spend a lovely evening in some cheap hotel in Grand Junction, wish me luck.

Some of the under 50 crowd are going out the night before, and something tells me Brant isn't a morning person.
