I'll try to make it. The teener has no heat (plus the carbs hate the cold) so I'll see if I can swipe the wifes boxster.

Im going to look at a pair of porsches for a friend (before noon) so I wont be able to make it to roots. Breakfast is always good though. I might be able to stop on the way back? Can someone email me directions or an address?

Tnx,
SMD

Evil, welding is the main theme for this gathering, of 'course anything goes. If we get bored there's a 1.8 we can rip into, plenty of tranny's to devour, along with food and suds. At some point I'll pull out the 2.0 Jim gave me and let everyone check it out. Here's it's current state of rebuild:

Good to hear. I'm sad to miss breakfast, but believe it or not no less than 3 people PMed me and offered to putme up for the night so I could make it in the morning (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif) What a great bunch! I will be carpooling with Brian again so that Noel can use our car so no can do. Probably leave at 8am get there 10:30-11. I was trying to see if there was some way to look as a Saturn while I was down there (the one I want is like 30 mi away), but it is not lookng feasable so I may have to drive back down on Sun if the dealership is open. It sucks living outin the middle of no where (and having one working vehicle)

Does anyone have an old clutch disk that they could donate at Roots? I left my other one at Matts and his house is not on the way.

Thanks!

i have one.

also, there is a Saturn dealer in Fairfax, probably "8-10 miles east" of sterling and easy access from Rt 66 W of beltway/Rt495. take first exit, for Rt 243 Nutley St off 66 W of beltway/Rt 495. best to mapquest address or mapquest for "Fairfax Circle" or "Patriot Harley-Davidson" (it's about 1 block east of P H-D)

EVIL, Just in case your interested. There's a CarMAX and a Ferrari/Maserati (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif) dealership right around the corner from my shop.

I haven't looked but there may be a clutch disk here somewhere too.

Thanks guys. I ahve been scouring CarMax as well as other sites. There is 1 on car max worth looking at, but it is near Baltimore. Maybe I need to expand my search region.

The disk I will need will be destroyed to weld a rod ont eh end of so that I may have a tool with which to hold tranny cranks with (no dirty jokes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ).
