I have a 914 5-bolt kit that's being installed and the rear caliper will not fit on the 914/6 disk that I was given. Any ideas on what to do. I'd rather not have to machine down a brand new 914/6 rear disk.
Has anyone else had this issue? If so how did you fix it, thanks! Nathan |

Geoff, he says (on the Pelican board) that his problem is not the diameter of the rotor (known problem in some cases), but with the thickness!
I'll say it again--you either have vented 911 rear rotors, not solid 914-6 rear rotors, or you haven't pulled the caliper pistons in far enough. --DD |
