Mike D got a ticket before joining us. Something about a front license plate (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)
While we were stopped for a beverage in BFE, a PCA group came by with at least 50 cars. BJ corded a tire (damn that thing is fast), he and Mike left, we kept going and bumped into the Ferrari chat guys at the end of the Nurburgring. Dekman, fresh from his victory over a pretty well driven M3, kept up with them and never exceeded the (German) speed limit. Heywood and I just cruised. That's a great running 2.0 and he can drive. No trouble keeping up with the group. 175 miles of great roads with really no traffic. Average moving speed 54.7mph (GPS). I need a nap. |

Had a great time, sorry I missed out what seemed to be the best half of the run.
Oh, and the ticket was for 75 in a 65, no front plate, and no windshild wipers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) at least two are "Fix It"... With Howie in lead there was plenty of opportunities for picture taking (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) enjoy.. Attached image(s) |

Hmm. Mulholland might be fun this weekend, probably a ton of nice cars up there. Then again this other drive seems like more actual driving time. hmmm..
