I agree with the stock wheel. I like to see my gauges. However, if I track or AX it, I can see putting the Momo back on.

The horn button is from a 912. I just put a new leather piece on it, so it looks better than in this pic.

Mark,

What did you do with the "old" leather center piece? It looks as if your foam pad compressed/collapsed, but the leather appears to be restorable.

Here's a similar view to yours. . . .from my perspective. . . .

Thanks,

The Fitti E3 has been my favorite all-around wheel for many years. I like the Momo Monte Carlo as well as the Prototipo too, but the deep dish of the Prototipo is "too much" for me in the 914, at least with the removable hub I use. I have a new silver-spoked Prototipo in storage for some (hopeful) future project like an early 911 or F-car...

any picture of the hub? i've thought about getting a removable hub also.
does the horn still work ? is the hub "keyed" to self center when it locks in place?

I'm pretty sure what's in mine is the Montecarlo. It looks nice but also is the most comfortable I've used.Attached Image

Other car has some sort of Nardi. It looks pretty but not very comfortable.

I've got a Nardi in mine and like it very much. Seems to be just the correct size.

Help me find my one true love. My wandering steering column wants to finally settle down!

Of those three, I like the prototipo.

I have a MonteCarlo in the 930 (I like that one as it is small)
In my 914, I have a Veloce. I like it in the 914.

I don't believe my wheels are currently available, but I like them anyway.

I prefer smaller steering wheels.

I don't have any pictures.

I love mine, I got a killer deal on it because nobody wanted the Martini Racing colors.
I only cared about how it felt, not looks so much.

That's funny,

I just ordered a new Momo Prototipo & adapter and Porshe center cap, and I'm waiting for it to arrive. Looking at the pictures, I think I made the right choice. It looks good and it's period for these things. Should be here next Wednesday. Can't wait to put it on! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rocking nana.gif)

Of the 3 options I like the Prototipo. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hijacked.gif) I find the fact that you have 9 gauges & A/C, and it looks "stock-ish", far more interesting & impressive. Wow... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif) .
