After looking at different types of mirrors for 914's I decided to try some that I hadn't seen. Many posted to my thread and their mirrors looked great too but these were free (in typical 914 fashion) so I just had to try them.
They took a bit of reworking, fitting into the curve of the door and I had to make steel supports for inside the door but I think I am going to be happy with the final product next year when I paint the car and mirrors together.
The primed steel supports will be welded inside the door when I am done but for a total cost of nothing I think they will do.
BTW they are electric ( I got the switch free too) and I plan to hook them up when I am done.
