If the girls were included, $3250 would be a good starting offer for that car. Without the girls, no way.

best part of the Ad besides the girls
QUOTE Paint and Body: The body condition is excellent for this year 914. Very little rust and it has never been messed with. I would rate it about 95% rust free. Only a few spots that can easily be repaired or simply left alone. The unibody is excellent! The paint appears original and in good driver condition. It is faded and chalky in spots, but some wax helps. No evidence of any prior accident damage. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) Attached image(s) |

That guy knows how to advertise for sure. Let's all tell the truth, we all originally got into 914s because "chicks dig them".

For a midwest car that is 95% rust free, you west cost guys are spoiled (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) Based on what I've seen around here, that car is in pretty good shape. That first picture would be alright in the Ladies of the Club calendar (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) |

Are those lower tins correct? Where the shift rod goes over the tin? Because on my car the shift rod goes UNDER the tin i.e. it's exposed to the road whereas with the above pictured car the shift rod would be protected from the road (at that one point). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) [edit]Oh wait, I see it's a tail-shifter while mine is side-shift. Is that the difference? |
