For those not in the know... go to Google and type in "Goodyear Lotus" and you'll get the idea.

Claim resolved in 30 days with Goodyear. They were very generous. They didn't have much of a leg to stand on.

What I mean is: Didn't you wait a year for the original because they were not available due to demand?

Has the market for these changed so much in the last year that you can now get one in a month?

I ordered the Elise in October '03 when they hadn't even come to the country yet. I was on the waiting list.. #23. Mine came in February '05.

Now, they are plentiful. I DID order an Exige S... basically as supercharged Elise with hard top, fast back, and wing. 0-60 in 4.1 secs.

The dealers each received 2 Exige S's last month. I found one in Austin, TX and I'm having it transported to Orlando...

Here is a pic of the car from TX...

"I DID order an Exige S... "

Damn, you're easy to hate! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Good move. You need to finish your 914 and do a full on track comparo for us. Did you consider a Cayman S? I know not everyone likes them but I do.
