Claim resolved in 30 days with Goodyear. They were very generous. They didn't have much of a leg to stand on.

Has the market for these changed so much in the last year that you can now get one in a month?

I ordered the Elise in October '03 when they hadn't even come to the country yet. I was on the waiting list.. #23. Mine came in February '05.

Now, they are plentiful. I DID order an Exige S... basically as supercharged Elise with hard top, fast back, and wing. 0-60 in 4.1 secs.

The dealers each received 2 Exige S's last month. I found one in Austin, TX and I'm having it transported to Orlando...

Great car chime in after a few days and update us on the handling, accelaration and interior sound levels. I am sure you will have the 500 mile break-in done by 2pm Sat.

Holy sh!t this is a much neater car than the Elise. You can definitely feel the torque down low and it is much friendlier to drive on the streets.

The car overall is a lot stiffer than the Elise as well. I've only driven about 20 miles, but the whine of the supercharger is kinda cool.

Also... ZERO visibility in the rear view mirror. All you see is intercooler and duct work...
