You can never have too many parts! Somehow the wife does not think that is so. Price was on the target.

$400 is what you would get for the parts you don't want on ebay. That was an excellent deal but then what do I know, I'm on the east coast. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

What's the VIN? Looks like a side shift transmission hooked to the engine. Then I saw what looks like a tail shift cover in the trunk. When did the "FASTEN SEAT BELT" warning light on the dash first appear? In any case, you got a bunch of good stuff for $400, IMHO!

Thanks,

I thought it was a 74 only thing, but I have a late 73 with one and some of the early 75s have them too.

It's a 72' the VIN# is 472292---- I don't that the motor and
trans came together the guy said he had another motor but it had
a bad case. I feel better with all your inputs that it was a good deal .

Here are a few more pics.

Does any body know what type of FI this is I would like to go to
carbs only because I don't know anything about the FI.
Any input on that???

Looks to be a stock D- jet set up, but it is hard to tell how much of it is there from the pics.

Well now you done it !!!!!

The wife says I have four years till the daughter starts driving
and that car would be JUST perfect for her... NOT!!!!!!

BUT a happy wife is a happy life so they say. but your right there
is no hell hole so why waste a good car . I am going to steal parts I need
to get MY car complete then start building the other for my daughter.

I would love to put that side shift in my car but how much of the linkage
do I have to change ?? I hope from the firewall back to the trans.
and in the cab. Does anybody know????

Thanks,
jbart
