The Hoopa Hillclimb is coming up in July. I went last year as a spectator and had a BLAST! It's a long trek up north to the event, but well worth the drive. If you're an old hand at AX/Track time, come try something new and race up the hill. Register early, the event is quite popular.

Thanks for the post, Mark. Yup, this event is a blast. Not much seat time, but fun anyway. So far, Randal, Bill P, Grant, and myself are headed up. Trekkor is on the fence. Want to just spectate and party? Hitch a ride up with us!
http://www.rscc.net/ Make your reservations ASAP to stay at the ONE hotel within 30 minutes of the hill. http://www.hoopa-nsn.gov/enterprises/hotel.htm I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about the event. Just pm me or post to this thread. |

last year we got 3 runs per day. they only promise 2 runs per day, however. speeds are slower and course is shorter than virginia city.
even for six runs, it was a long haul (and I'm in norcal). BUT, it was fun -- and as challenging as you want it to be. |
