Where does the little rubber ring go on the front Bilstein's? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Couple of options:

1. Vent Ring = Small ring that is flat with a slice out of it and is just under 1/4" thick. - On the top of the shock body.

2. Rubber snubber - Fairly thick series of donuts meant to offer a final dampening effect if you come close to bottoming out the suspension. - On top of the vent ring but still under the metal dust cover.

Thanks Eric, but if I read the directions correctly the Bilsteins don't use the the thick donuts off the stock boges. The smaller 1/4 inch thick washer is the one in question. I don't know if it goes above or below the dust cover.......... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)
