Hi , Is the fan on the front of the engine that also runs the alternator the same
for all size engines, I have one from a 1.7, will this fit a 1.8 or 2.0 . I think there all the same,but wanted to check here first. Dave (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif)

Any fan will fin any motor. there are different bolt for the early one Allen bolts vs. hex head.

And to add ... It is possible that there are different timing marks on them. A 1.7 and 2.0 should be marked the same. The 1.8 will be marked differently.

That said, you should mark your own or at least check the one you install for the correct timing marks.

Dave: I've seen bus fans with no markings and it fit. I think they all fit.
