OK, neebe here,
I just bought a 71 914 project and I want to replace the cable, the old cable is routed from the peddal,to the tunnel under the engine then up thru the tin(binding, kinking) then to the carbs. Is it missing some kind of linkage that bolts on to the tranny then from the linkage (a straight shot) thru the tin then to the carbs. I have a tail shifter if that makes a difference.
