I have a 73 1.7. I need to fix the fuel sender, but I can not locate on the tank. I read remove 5 screws, what 5 screws? Pls. comment. Thanks.

The fuel sender is under the overflow tank on top of the tank. There are actually 6 or 8 screws IIRC around the gas cap.

Pull the overflow tank and you'll see the top of the sender.

the fuel sender is under the expansion tank on top of the gas tank.
you need to remove the expansion tank first.

in the picture below, you can see the fuel sender on the tank ...
