i was thinking last night and theme is going to be: "End of Summer". And i wanna throw in a palm tree into the image to bring in the California feel. And prolly put some more detail into the 914, white lines and such for the door seams, bumper, turn signal buckets, and maybe foglight grills.

I've gotten great suggestions for the design, now i need some color suggestions. Bring'em on! Once we settle on everything i can then take pre-orders and send them out to my screenprinter. I remember a photo ad for a porsche targa (911 or 914, dunno) that had a girl standing and/or sitting on the rollbar, that might be kinda cool.

Maybe design your own girl instead of the 'mudflap' girl, that just says bud-light and jacked up pickups to me, not really 914-esque.

And I'd like to see the sun smaller and a little higher, about where the top of it is now. more like the real size if you were looking at it.

I have it on my puter, at home, 3000 miles away. Its an early euro ad, I think

SirAndy posted it about a year ago. It was, I think, two chicks in bikini's.

I like the palm tree/sun/914 combo. No person as all though. The sun in the original looked odd. It works with the palm tree though. Orange with black print would be rad. I don't think I have an orange shirt. Maybe A darker green and light gray?

I like this one, but a few additions might be even better:

1. have a pair of legs sticking out from underneath the car with a pile of tool beside them.

1a. add a puddle of oil somewhere

1b. add a female figure with one hand oh her hip and the other with fuinger in air as if waving it angrily

2. have guy leaned against tree

2a. have girl leaned against tree

3. have guy sitting with back against tree and head drooped

3a. have guy against tree with head drooped, wearing a sombrero, and holding a bottle

3b same as 3a but with girl leaving in car with another guy.

I prefer the original sun.

And the original design. I looks like you bought it off of some crusty old car guy in the seventies.

But tits are nice. . .

You can always get them custom made on these online places like: www.cafepress.com for one off items, but when it comes to large amounts, you have to include the cost of making the screen print which ranges from $25-$40, the cost of the shirts, and then cost of labor to print the shirts. The thing with the online places is they charge you the price of a shirt bought at retail store price and there's no profits to be made from those. And i prefer doing everything myself and contracting someone to make the shirts for cheap and making some profit, hehe, a broke college student just making some cash on the side (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
