Thanks bro yours is bad ass! The wheel are from cip1.ca they are pretty nice quality for the price. They are 17 by7 with 5.5 offset they fit great. No rubbing.

Sweet ride JT. I also purchased the EMPI/Fuchs knockoffs. I am sure the concours crowd will chime in with displeasure but we saved a ton of money and they look great. Attached Image

I recall that one when on CL a bit ago . Found mine the day before I was going to look at this one ... good job ! Coming along well .
What city are you in ? (I am Concord)

Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek border - both were CL deals - was helping a buddy look for a Porsche and kept seeing the black one and had to jump - ended up getting the black one for parts for the shiny one. Can't wait for the rain to stop so I can start delving into them. Have a bunch of classic Mini's (w Japanese engine transplants except 1) that I need to finish up so I can get to the teener's. I know, the sickness crosses all borders....

My 1974 2.0, bought in Redwood City, Ca. Sat in a garage since 1990, now it's back in action! Anybody else live in Santa Cruz and own a 914, 914's?

Hi, I live in Corralitos & have a green 1971-6 that I have completely restored. I, too ,love Porsches & this is our 2nd 914 & have had other models years ago. Maybe we will see one another on the road! Steve

I live over by Prunedale, and just purchased this '74 6-conversion in December. My first foray into air-cooled after owning first a 2000 Boxster, and then a 2000 Cab. I was autocrossing the Cab, and this became available through a club member. The purchase was over a year in the making, so it must be right.

Presenting.... Nina! The car had been a GGR TT car for most of it's life. After the 3.0 from a '78 SC donor was installed in early 90's, fulfilling the owner's dream, it was never tracked again and barely driven due to illness. She's back in action, and ready to pick up where she left off. I'm hoping to round off a couple of the rough edges, and enjoy her as much as possible! She offers me a lot that the cab didn't, but my wife is still not entirely elated with the change. No more fretting over handing things over to a valet though!

And yes, even though both do have some vestiges of attitude, Garfield and the IMSA spoiler will be gone very soon. Looks like a fun bunch in here! Bring your real 6 over to Marina for the AX this summer, the FAA is kicking us out after this season. Other club members would love to see your car!

Cheers,

Todd

Hi, just purchased a 73 with a 2.4 Raby 4. I live in Capitola and have owned and raced several Porsches. Just restored a Ghia coupe, hot rod. Look forward to hooking up with the locals.
Cheers
Tim

Lets see some pics Tim! I believe I met you at Canepa coffee and cars this summer, you had a super clean black Ghia, you told me you were in the hunt for a 914

Heres a pic of my 914, 74' 2.0 66k original miles, just got the front bumper bumperette holes welded as well as the license plate holes and chromed

Here's a couple of photos, Cars and Coffee on Saturday mornings, the Starbucks on 41st.

This is my 914/6 since 1982.
The first owner was the VW-Porsche Vertriebsgesellschaft in Ludwigsburg with the number plate LB - SE 409.
Now a turbo-engine is installed, with 3,2 L, SC-camshafts and intercooler. He becomes actually a 915-gearbox with 916 shifting.
