My new Gearbox !

QUOTE(marcus9146 @ Apr 13 2016, 01:18 PM) *

This is my 914/6 since 1982.
The first owner was the VW-Porsche Vertriebsgesellschaft in Ludwigsburg with the number plate LB - SE 409.
Now a turbo-engine is installed, with 3,2 L, SC-camshafts and intercooler. He becomes actually a 915-gearbox with 916 shifting.

Usually laying low, but here's my '74 914 with a 2.7 flat six and SC rear flares. Formerly owned by 914W member, RowB. Set up for track use, but have since been making it more street worthy.

With black 7/8x15 Fuchs as supplied:

Currently with 7/9x16 Fuchs:

Kind of like an old friend. Doesn't matter if you haven't talked in 10 years, when you do, it is like picking up where you left off.

Looks like a great spot to enjoy the car.

Timeless photo, if you ignore the white car in the background, it could have been taken 40 years ago.

New to this forum, 1st post so take it easy on me. This is my 914 and I'm here to learn how to take care of it on a daily basis, how to maintain it, and what needs to proactively be upgraded.

Any suggestions or recommendations of resources to read would be appreciated!
