My 1974 914 with a Nissan D21 3.0 liter V6 and KEP adapter. Car is here with me in Germany. No chance of getting arrested at speeds over 100MPH. This is the car that led me to my new 914/Boxster S/LS3 project.Attached Image Attached ImageAttached Image

And my new project. Bought a 71 914 4 months ago that was converted to a GT wide body by some German body shop many years ago. It's rust free and never welded on so that's a good thing. I have all the parts on a pallet and that includes a 911 front end and rear 5 lug hubs. I bought it from a guy who literally has 25 x 914-4, 914-6 and about 10 x 911s. He has a warehouse full of them in various conditions about 10 kilometers from my house. Anyway, I'm so glad I stumbled across 914-World last night because I've already found answers to questions I had. This site rocks. Looks like everyone has already figured it out. Less discovery learning on my part is always a good thing. Thanks so much.

Little introduction: I'm retired from the U.S Army after 22 years but continue to work as a Government guy over here in Germany and this is what I consider home (born in North Carolina back in 1965). I've built numerous hot rods, classic American Iron but my current Nissan powered 914 is what hooked me. The second 914 wil be LS3 powered, KEP, Boxster S 6 speed, A/C and Renegade products that are already here and ready.

Looking forward to making some new friends and learning from the real fabricators like Chris. I spent 2 hours last night looking at his stuff. Amazing skills.

Roger

Welcome to 914world @Army Roger ! Thank you also for your 22 yrs of serviced!
Looks like you just started with 914 and you easily got the sickness of having more 914s. That warehouse is amazing. I don’t think the owner is a 914world member yet.
You will have lots of friends and support here with your projects. Here in SoCal I know 2 members has LS engine on their 914 and both are in well sorted running car.

Continued tradition of teaching my kids how to do something other than staring at an electronic device.

My dad taught me on a 72 and I get to teach my kids on this 73.
