Well I *still* have not gotten back out on the track, but I have been gently 'testing' the car around the canyons here, and it's running great. The only major task left to be track-ready is installing the new fire system, which I already bought but is still in the box.

Not sure if I ever posted in this section, so here is my 914-6 tribute. 1971 based on a 1.7, now has a 3.2L with a 915 trans, boxster front brakes, Boges up front and Konis out back. Steel flares, maxilite wheels and tons of fun.

Looking Good!

I don't talk about my car at school, but the 'secret' of my 914 has slowly been getting out...

A fellow undergrad reached out to take some photos of my car.
All credit goes to @kate_chrystal_photography, they did a great job!
I don't use Instagram but I think with this link you should be able to find them.

Here are a few so you can get the gist of it.

After looking at several disassembled and rusty 914's, a friend alerted me to this 74 1.8 in Tennessee. Body looked straight and could tell the "hell hole" damage was minimal. A good, original solid car even though it's not yet a runner.

Let’s see your babies, 914’s only please!
We really don’t care what kind of POS water-cooled you drive. Unless it’s a 914 V-8 conversion of course!

Sorry our pic is a bit crappy.

This is my 1973 1.7 L that had the 916 front and rear fiberglass bumpers. This car is extremely rust and will just be used as a parts car.
