Were there two types of early "porthole" valances??
Where the tailpipe holes in different locations for a four and a six, if so how do you tell them apart. TIA Ferg (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

Since six valences are nowhere to be found, could a four be re-worked to look and function like a six???

Since six valences are nowhere to be found, could a four be re-worked to look and function like a six??? I was talking to Vegas racer at GAF several years back about his /6 rear valance and that is exactly what he did for his valance. He took the measurements for the /6 valance and cut a rectangle out of the /4 valance. He then rotated the metal and welded it back in the valance. I am sure it was not quite that easy but looked terrific and original for the /6. |
