Since I am running MS with a relay board that had a pump relay and fuse, I don't need the one on the stock r/b.

If it's removed form the board, wil it affect the other functions??

Just curious, why do you want to remove it? If it does nothing it shouldn't cause any issues. Even if it has power to it, the only power is the coil which is minimal.

without the old D-Jet ECU the pump would not get turned on without hot wiring pin 3 to ground. Once you have done that then there is no real reason for it to be on the relay board. I kinda agee with spoke though - if you are going to keep the relay board it makes sense just to leave as an hot wire to ground.

To answer you question - no there is no other reliance on the fuel pump relay.

Makes a nice way to keep a couple of spare relays around for your headlights, your heater blower fan, your rear window defogger (if any)...

Depends on where you are getting your +12v from for you MS.
Where are you getting your +12v from?

There aren't that many sources for a switched fused 12v in the engine
compartment.
Hopefully, its not the same circuit as the coil.

If you have your own +12v switched circuit, then you can actually probably
remove 2 relays. The Fuel pump relay and the Power Supply Relay.
See this technical artical for locations of relays:

The +12v is coming straight from the batt.

For the sw. +12v, I tapped into the sw. power from the main harness ( solid black wire). I T'd it where the stock harness enteres the engine bay.

Since all the FI stuff is now from the MS r/b, I did not have a need for the second wire harness that comes off the back of the stock 914 r/b and eliminated all but the starter, back up light wires and blower motor jumper from that plug.

Thank's for the link
