No its a great deal. As it sets that is what you will get from most any 911. The parts that are needed for the conversation to a 914 is never part of a package like this. the parts on this motor you dont need you sale off to the 911 guys and use the bucks towards your conversation. good luck.

read here, it's a long thread, but lots of info about my 3.6L conversion in it:
http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?act...f=2&t=44700

the price seems right, you'll need the FI computer that came with the engine. Patrick Motorsports sells conversion harnesses that allow you to plug your 3.6L harness into the 914 body harness. all you need to do is run a few more wires (switched and fused power to the ECU for example) and you should be good to go.

unless you already have a /6 in your car, you'll need lots of conversion parts. headers, exhaust, Rich Johnson bulkhead motor mount, KEP stage 2 pressureplate and heavy duty clutch disk, oiltank, thermostat, lines, external cooler (the 3.6L does not have an engine oil cooler!) etc. etc. etc.

here's a link to the PMS website, they have a list of parts for 3.6L 914 conversions:
