NJ inspectors are so forgiving..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) I'm sure they'll understand.

It will pass (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Car doesn't have an emergency brake or speedometer either. Those I would like to remedy later on.

Oh I was also going to get historic plates for it. I was under the impression that with historic plates you don't need to get it inspected. Could be wrong. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

But I am sure Ray can get me a inspection sticker. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)

no inspection needed with historic plates...but you will, "technically", be limited with you mileage. But having known you for a short period of time, I don't expect that that would slow you down.

I really don't drive much anymore so it won't be an issue. I've only driven the solstice 3000 miles this year.

More progress pics.
The new wing looks really rrrrnice.
Here's the high downforce position:

and the city streets cruising position:

We got the new tires mounted and started widening the rear a little more:

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) It figures the previous flares were done crudely and couldn't take even a little stretching without tearing wide open. So we will add some new metal:

Still not sure about the wing but eh see what happens. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Maybe it's just those winglets. I will replace them withsomething else and see if that works. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Hey Chris leave the wing off. The more I look at it the stupider it gets.

If the endplates were a different shape it might be fine but they make the wing look like it is on backwards as they are. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)
We already filled 4 holes from the old wing. We'll just fill the 8 new holes.

Maybe the designer knows something about aerodynamics that the rest of the world missed, and we put it on wrong. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

HAHA sorry. But yeah it does look weird. I'll bring some racing DVDs next time I come. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I should have just got the right wing for the car to begin with. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

Before I permanently delete the wing option I think I'll mount it one more time at a low downforce angle and see if I can come up with an end plate shape that works. The curvature of the wing is similar to the curve at the edge of the decklid.

The second picture he has it on backwards as a joke. The first picture it is on correctly. Looking at the side plates though it does look wrong. I think they just must have drilled the side plates incorrectly or something.

Well Chris I am curious what you come up with. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
