Part number: 914-641-101-50, '75-'76 combo gauge
Is the 'TEMP' part of the gauge for oil temperature, or for cylinder head temperture? I'm guessing Oil Temp, but I'm guessing. |

What is the yellow light for on the gauge? I have the same gauge and want to install it in my car. Is the wiring for the oil temp gauge present?

Oh yeah, that's where the EGR light is. I am clueless on the yellow light then unless like you mention, might be for sport-o-matics?

Yellow light not used! But a flashlight behind it, gauge has a plate behind it to back light the gauge. Thats the way it was on mine.

Sport-o-matics? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) Yup, for the Sportos. Overtemp light for the torque converter, as I recall. Blanked off from the back for all but the ~25 Sportos, as 904svo said. --DD |

I have two 75's and 2 76's none have a combo gauge like that. that combo gauge was only used in 73-76 2.0L cars not equipped with a console. there was an oil temp gauge in the console. Exactly......... why have it in both places..best thing to do is add one for the head temp. |
