Trying to gage need for these part #91453118510. These go on the roof and block water from comming in over the window. The part number is only for one side, but it would be both left and right.
I can do these without the plugs at about 22 a set, or plug at $17 each. If I have enough people that need these I'll make them. Thanks, Mark |

Mark, I still don't know what you mean: 'with plugs' ... ((( or ))) ... 'without plugs' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) The extrusion is the easy part, the end where the roof meets with the vertical targa seal on the roll bar is sealed, or "plugged" The OEM part uses a casting very similar to the vertical targa seal See Vertical targa seal The big problem I ran into with these is that the ends actually have a compound miter, and both sides are different, to manufacturing these ends was a tedious process that takes some labor to do, and I didn't have enough time to do them all, so the first sets that were purchased I made with the ends "plugged" ad opted to just sell the extrusion to try to recover some of my costs. This seal is different in that the cut is not compound and I can set up to do these faster. It will still take some time, but I will also sell the extrusion for those of you who can reuse your ends. Hope this helps to answer some questions. |
