I noticed that as well. In 34 years of owning a 914, I've never even realized that it would fit in backwards!

I'll have to try the next time I get out to the garage.

Wow! That was great! Thanks Andy for the translation. I also noticed the top stowed backwards and how roughly he treated it. The water puddle cracked me up. Duh! No wonder these things rust.
