I'm finally gonna call it, and say I'm not gonna be able to have the car done for WCR.
I will however BE at Cars and Coffee. |

Don't feel bad ... my wife's car won't be ready either - too many things to do and not enough time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ...
On top of everything else, yesterday found out that her motor mounts are shot too. The rubber centers 'fell out' when I was cleaning them up (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) (well, I kind-of pushed on them a little bit too hard and they came out) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif) I'll bet the transaxle mounts are in similar condition ... and at $114. each from Pelican ... this is gonna hurt (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) Just read a post where Dave Darling said 911 mounts will work in their place though. Not original, but I guess they'll have to do for now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |

Thanks for the offer Eric, but the car may be FASTER with 911 mounts (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
... especially if a 911 moder were attached to them ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |

I also ran out of time and took my car to Hergesheimer's to help get caught up. Thank god and satan for credit cards. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)
