My father-in-law called today and said that he was tired of waiting to see how the FI rebuild for the 57 vette turned out. He asked if I was ok with installing the fuel injection myself instead of waiting on him. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

2 hours later and the sweet sound of a 57 fuelie was filling the garage. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) Once the fuel got to the cylinders she fired right up. Smoooothh.

I have been waiting years to get this car running!

Doug with all the 914 stuff you have going on I am
sure you will need some extra room. My wife said
that she would be willing to give up her spot in OUR
garage to HELP you out. She is sure there is room
for vette or two (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

PS. She would only drive it to Church on Sundays just
to makesure that the battery stays charged (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool_shades.gif)

It definately needs some miles. That'll come soon. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

THe 54 is on the got to get running list. 2 carbs on the teener is challanging. The 54 has 3. I am expecting some syncronization issues here.
