Not to mention it would be impossible to build a car anything like that without a BIG pile of cash AND a WHOLE lot of engineering and fabrication expertise.

Personally I dunno if many extreme tube-frame 914 look-alikes are really getting built these days? Weren't most of them conceived or finished in the 80's and 90's? Seems like most p-car racers now gravitate towards early 911 tub cars, or late factory race cars.

Roger has been running mostly northern events. Running Willow Springs every 3 weeks gets old real quick. He ran Laguna last year and Thunderhill.

He just built a new castle in Paso Robles with a 6 car garage that is a dead ringer for the house. Water fountain in the drive way.. vulgar display of wealth. He has no kids.

I know of only a few 914's being built right now (none on this scale).

Jeroen.. I'm sure you found those buried in my all914 site somewhere along the line.

It truelly isnt that big of a deal.. I try to respect peoples privacy.

Just curious, what was Roger's "day job"?

I've gotta believe that 914 fiberglass kits probably wouldn't fund a castle...in fact might not even fund an Ultimate 914 like his own (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif)

Roger and I are pretty tight.
