Never Mind it came from the Club!!

I received a PM today from angelikzusa at 914 World and when I followed the link it asked me to log in. I was already logged into the World so I checked via my open page for a message and there are none!

I am going to guess that someone is Phishing for log in ID's!!

This guy is a porn spammer. He sent a bunch of club-site PMs with a link to an eastern-euro porn site.

Yeah, more spam from the 'club'. Haven't logged in there for ages. Not much security anymore.

You would be surprised what they are phishing for...

I received an E-mail from Dell sent to one of my E-mail addresses notifying me that I had just bought a large screen TV for several thousand dollars and listed an account number....

Logged int the real Dell, entered my new account number, told them I forgot my password, and the password rolls up in my E-mail... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Bottom line.... my E-mail address, somebody elses charge card number, a fake billing address on a non exstent street in Miami FL, a Kali delivery address c/o some guy, and two days for me in DELL HELL talking to India on the phone to clean up the mess.....

And, the only place that E-mail address is posted is on 914World and 914Club....

Remember entering your birthday????

Lurkers abound....

Webcrawlers collect...

I just amended my personal info a bit so if someone collects and trys to verify any personal info with a CC company then things will be a bit wrong. Any little bit of protection helps from these asswipes.
