ohhh ya we will meet soon... i was tuning the car up today and when i fired it up it started smoking, im worried i might have to pull the motor. i was peeved about today, what a waste

Brant you need the 12pin ignition harness from a 73-76 D-Jet car. L-Jet engine hanresses wont work and the earlier harnesses (1.7L) wont work either because the heater blower and oil temp sender circuits are different.
There are no grounds on this harness as suggested above. The AAR connection is on this ignition harness (the only white wire), not on the FI harness. I only have the new ones and cores... |

Renee, sounds like I need 73-76 DJet.. I know your 1.7 is a DJet, but I think it was a 72 right...? Brant I got it out today and sent it priority mail. For some reason I thought you needed the relay to alternator harness as well so I sent that also. It appears to be in good condition. The PO taped the AAR wire and the green wire next to it as if he didnt use it (dont know why), maybe you can get it in shape, who knows.
