Is the needle on a VDO Tach just a press fit?

Careful Andy, easy to screw up a tach pulling on the needle. The shops have a little puller for that.

Got it off. I used a pair of flat pliers to get to the metal under the plastic and support two sides, then pulled straight up.

The spacing for the blinker lights seems wider.
I haven't looked but can you really change the spacing for the blinker bulbs? |
