My '74 has a VIN plate on my front right headlight bucket. This plate contains the following:

Type 47
VIN Number
Unknown String: 4/255A
Unknown String: PQUITZ~~~596
Unknown String: 1270 650 650

Anybody able to decipher the unknown strings?

My thanks in advance

Sorry, but you will have to be able to read German to make sense of those "Unknown Strings" ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

EDIT: I was going to translate, but Gustl beat me to it ...
