Ya'll start throwing around dates and we can see if we can come to a consensus. I will look into starting a separate post for the PNW meet planning.

I can host the Atlanta one. I even have a trans that needs a little TLC...

Come on ATL guys. Speak up! I, er, we need this class.

Alright folks, for the main areas that have the most interest so far I am going to start separate threads so it will be easier to organize and to send people to a specific link. I need to go to club NARP and let them know about a SoCal clinic.
Look for the forthcoming threads!

I would be in for a midwest one, but could also make the trip to the Northeast or Atlanta.

I need this!

...Just found this main thread so (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_bump.gif)

This is a great opportunity. I've stated that fact in the SoCal threat already so check in there too.

Well worth the cost. Mike does a great job, has tons of parts, and the special tools aka a rubber mallet.

When Mike and I did this, I flew him out and put him up. Feed him and let him drink my beer.

He plays a mean guitar and was a good guest.

As Rob mentioned, the storm sucked and with my car on jack stands for the tail to side swap there was not much room in my two car garage.

What worked:

1. People were great
2. Mike was awesome
3. Plenty of parking
4. Lots of beer and people brought more
5. Great learning experience

What could be done better:

1. Work benches; need one per tranny rebuild, some brought their own
2. 13m wrenches (lots of them...I think that was the size)
3. Don't forget to eat; we'd work for the entire day and forget about food. Thankfully my daughter cooked meatballs. I think we did 20 hours at least, likely more.
4. More rags and gloves

I am sure there is more, Mike?

Thats about it. I tend to work until completely exhausted so having scheduled food would be a good idea. The venues that have been offered up for this tour of tranny carnage look to be more adequately equipped as far as benches, etc. But, the will lack your small army of child laborers and the keg (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I know both Dug Wright and I would be in for a clinic. We're both NorCal (he's in Redwood City, I'm in Santa Rosa). Between Dug and I, I think we have at least five or more spare gear boxes for core bits.

Anyone else in getting Mike back out to NorCal? It's possible that either Dug or I could host as well.

You rock Mike!

Its not too late, Randy. I am very open to a NorCal thing. Find the people to stand up and be counted and I will come out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I have a 6 trany that has a good WIIIIIINE in all gears so I could probably pull it out if the clinic is not too far from the East Bay Area!

I am in Discovery Bay! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
