Add me to the list.. I will be spectating on Saturday, unless my trans blows up between now and then.. I won't be wearing a thong over my head, but let me know if you would like me to bring some snacks or brewskies so I don't feel so guilty!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

OK - We're in the last few days before the transmission clinic. I've paid my fee, purchased my spare parts. So how do I get an address for this event???

My thanks

+3 on the directions too.... been a while since I've been there.

Mike, is going through two boxes a one day or two day event? I'm trying to figureout whether I need a motel for Sat. night. Regardless, I have a 4 1/2 hour drive and am trying to figure the best plan.

Dr. are you thinking the tranny festivities to start at 8:00 or so Sat. morning??

Are we all pitching some cash in for food or??

Time depends on hours, not days. We started about 9-10am on Sat and I finally called it quits at midnight. All but 4 people were done the first day. The next day we started about 10-11am and were done by 3pm. Start times are best if later in the morning for many reasons; Joe's place is about 1 hour away (that is where I am staying), I am not a morning person, and I will work late with no problem.

If we can do 10am start that would kick ass for me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

That's a tough demand after drinking beer until 3:30 on Friday night, er, Saturday morning. I think we got rolling around 9, started turning wrenches around 10, and went 'till midnight. Then we stopped working ad started drinking beer again... well, actually, we had been drinking beer since after noon...

Update; 9-14-09 7pm
Thanks everyone for all the offers to bring food to the upcoming event. My plan is to have enough food & drinks (Soda and water) for lunch both Sat, & Sun 22 people. Still BYOB and bring your swim trucks if you wont to swim in the logon. All food & drinks are donation friendly see the box.

Saturday: Chicken like stuff maybe wings and veggie platter, fruit, chips.

Sunday: Burgers, Dogs, some sides from Costco. Lots of fruit both days.

Both mornings croissants, fruit and OJ maybe some eggs off the grill can happen.

If the event dose go into the dinner hour we can order Pizza or?????? .

Suggestion are welcomed. I should be shopping on Wednesday or Thursday night.

If you have a Picture CD you would like to share bring it along

Lets get a time set here I am a early bird 5;30 type, I have to hope for 9-10am??. Going to late into the night is not neighbor friendly.
Our you guys will show up and I will have you working on cars until the event gets under way. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
But if anyone wants to bring a sleeping bag and hang on some floor that’s cool with me.

SS Trans sale pending. Will also bring two SS parts trans and the core tail shift. The SS trans should have the parts to convert a tail shift. Offers accepted on any of the parts in them. Also have an extra case.

Leamon,
There is a travel inn less than a mile from your place...will it do for an overnighter? Or is there a motel you would suggest fairly close?

I appreciate the sleeping bag offer, which I still may take you up on, but my body revolts when it doesn't get a bed...LOL. I guess I'm getting old. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

How about a sofa? I have a sofa an a bed left. Oh and some carpet in another room. Bring a air mattress!

I would say Travel INN in this area is like a truck stop.

I''l be there starting 9-10am. There are less people at this clinic so we should be able to finish a bit quicker.

Leamon, i have some $$ for you for the food (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

As I just went through the PNW clinic, I would recommend taking / bringing extra syncros, dog teeth, 1st sliders, intermediate bearings, rags and alot of gloves! People will need them. For those of you have never seen the inside, get your thinking caps on it's going to be fun! Really it is! Do not be scared, The Doc can smell fear!
