There is a guy on ebay that makes billet versions. $89? I think. Also advertised on the Samba.

The pieces circled for '72-'74 specific columns. A cheaper #3 made to the same quality of the other 2 parts would be nice too.

I know those as well; good, better than nothing, but not quite right, The shape is wrong.

I second some new center caps George; everyone with any of the factory alloys probably needs at least one; I need 4 and would probably buy 8

Does anyone make the rubber circular plugs that go in the front panel behind the front bumper?

I don't need them because I bought most of the good stock that was available when I found out they were NLA, but the hose that runs from the airflow meter to the throttle body on the 1.7 fuel injection. If you run SCCA or Vintage as a road racer in a class that requires stock pieces on the inlet side of things then you need this. Most of them I have seen have been cracked in the bellows portion of the hose due to age and vibration. People have resorted to fixing them with Shoe Goo or Black silicone.
The last new one was sold by Porsche in Germany to a mechanic in Ventura, CA 3 years ago and went on a customer's car. I tracked it down trying to buy it.
I bought a number of good used ones to have in the race spares box. (thanks to Cap'n krusty and Nate Breitling among others)

Trunk lock cylinders....

Most of the ones I 've seen are pitted and worn- including the two I have.

George,
How about a passanger side mirror with a convex lens. I bought your reproduction last year and I mounted it yesterday. Looks great. I just wish it had the lens.
Thanks
