Hey guys. Doing a 5 lug conversion and purchased a pair of 3" struts off the bird board. They must be boge struts but they are painted green. When looking them over I found the ball joint attachments were different on each of the struts. One looks to have the same bolt thru arrangement as the early 914 struts I removed. The other strut looks to have the pin type later ball joint. Would it matter if I used these struts on my car with the different ball joints. I hope this is not a stupid question.

Someone sold you an unmatched set of struts... one has the early ball joint, the other the late...

The desirable one is the one with the pin, not the bolt..

I have a set which you could have, so you could make a proper set... of course the ones I have need paint..

you pay shipping and consider them yours...for another $50 I'll toss in a set of never used Koni inserts....

But wait theirs more!!!

kidding...

Pardon me but what's a bird board? Google didn't help unless I was interested in parrots.
