100% Perfect! Got mine in along with the engine seal. Thanks Mike
????????? What's the best way to get the old knob off...the shim makes the fit super tight. To install the new knob do I just pressure it down? With a little lube or not? Thanks

Mine came this week - Looks great!

What's the seal that came with? Looks too small to be an engine seal...

New second gen knobs availabe -heaver resin, higher quality-

I do have the old style polished knobs, but they were very labor intensive, the quality control required quite a few rejects. These new ones are a satin finish that looks like the new ones at the dealership. At $285.

I do have the crush washers at $8 if you need them.

Currently I have 6 of these made up and if you want one let me know these will be at $65 after (still a good value, but hey save some $ if you're in the market).

I think you'll like these!

I would like one of the new knobs with crush washer. Do you have the leather shift boot as well?

I need to check back with my leather guy. We had talked about it, but had not finalized anything.

I'll check back with you tomorrow on the boot, he may have made up a few.

I posted this in the classifieds cause I'm a noob and didn't read all of your post.

Can you make some with 1 where 2 is and make it a 4 speed for the v8 guys and others who don't have or use 1st gear to start but 2nd.

Just a thought...

I can, but the set up is about $175, If I could get 8 guys that need that exact layout (one set up) I'd do it.

So the real question is how many people need them?

Also, if I remember correctly, George had some goofy balls (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) .

I mean a few that were non-standard.
