Does anyone know if the 911 "protective cover" will work on a 914 that is using the I-beam aluminium support from a 911? I have a part number of 911 341 161 04. "74-89.

The 'auxillary support' is the same dimensionally, aluminum or steel, matters not if it's installed in a 914 or 911.

The belly pan access cover is a 914 part. The 911 part is not even close.

I have the aluminium one on my 914. To make the one from my 914 work I had to make some brackets for the front. The support sticks down lower than the orignal 914 one and the cover hits it and has a gap in the front. I guess I'll have to put a couple of bends in the orignal cover...Here's a pic of the support.
