if these actually DO fit under the 914 seat... that would be awesome.

My 1975 914 will be done from the body shop in a few weeks. So I have not had the time to check the seat clearance yet. But I think the clearance is 3.5" from the floor to the bottom of the seat. The last time I measured I think the seat was at least 20" across. And 22" from the tip of the seat to the backpad. But if you could remeasure I would really like to know. Thanks

You should get some pics of what the body shop is doing to it. =o) Did it have hell hole issues?

Pictures, man! start a build thread, even if someone else is doing the body work. We like to see!

(oh, and the amp/sub combo won't fit under the seat, the rails get in the way, along with the pivot arc that is under there... If you'd really like to make a setup interesting to look at, check out A&P's center sub console along with their speaker pods and do a configuration that will help boost Morph and Spectra's sales as well by offering speakers that will compliment the fiberglass products that are already in production)

Sorry I have been working and just have not been able to get online. But to answer your question, I do have a few nav double din units. Most of my units are priced well under $500.00. Once again sorry for the delay in response to you.

I measured over the weekend, I don't see how any sub could fit under the seat, but I have thought about building a slim truck-style box for behind the seat at the butt-corner, that might fit.

Did you get my PM???
