Should the new engine shroud seal that installs in the channels in the firewall be facing down or up?

Also, do we just push in with screwdriver or slide in from the side?

Thanks,
Bryan

Facing down, and use a screwdriver. They will not slide in.

This question has me thinkin" (dangerous, I know) but in the desire to be helpful (dangerous, I know), are you referring to the seals that touch the perimeter of the engine tin? Is the firewall you are referring to located just behind the driver/passenger wall? The seals at the front (in relationship to the car) and sides are the same part number, the seal at the rear is NLA as far as I recall and different profile than the front and sides.

Seals done.... screwdriver worked... thanks for the help. My rear seal (the one that Mikey914 makes) was not bad and did not need replacing. The others were hard and brittle.
