Want to buy one of these... my 73 doesn't have one. Does anybody know where can I purschase one.. thanks

Since you are in LA, you would do well by going to the G & R swapmeet in Riverside the 25th. There are always sellers with boxes of small parts... smile.gif

I have the sending unit for this plate. This is the correct sending unit for the optional factory oil temp gauge. I don't have the cover plate. Let me know if this is an option. Thanks Bill

Can a taco plate from a Bus engine be used on a 914 engine.

I don't think buses had tacos but you certainly could put a taco on a bus engine as they are the same size and bolt pattern (so the sump cover from a bus could be used on a 914).

Bill - I'll buy your sender if recko911 doesn't want it ( I have the taco plate).
