Mounting a CHT and Oil pressure guage in a homemade panel, which will reside under dash, inside top of the jocky box in my 72. Where have you pulled 12v off of the harness to power the pressure gauge? And what have you tapped into thats switched with the light switch to light up the faces of the new gauges?

use a fused source that is switched with ignition on for power to gage, The one that powers the turn, brake adn reverse lites is a good one, fuse number 9.

for gage lights just dasisy chain them off the nearest instrument light on the speedo or tach, that way lites will work with teh headlihts and dimmer

ahev fun
