Does it matter which way the half shafts are mounted?
Do you use the same gaskets inside the trailing arm as on the transmission?

I've never seen one. Maybe one of the guys that works on these for a living has.
1.) No, but I have turned them around so that the outer end is now at the trans. They will wear in a different area on cv.
