My 36-year old stock 914 2.0 is my daily driver with 46,000 original documented miles. Never had a problem with it. That car is going to out last me.

But if I have to stick to the rules: 66 mustang coupe. Questionably reliable I know, but I've already done the 240z jumpstart and go thing.

I want another Karmann Ghia convertible.....

And just so you know,

there AIN"T no such thing as a 40 year old Honduh,

In fact there ain't no such thing as a 30 year old Honduh,

And probably almost no 25 year old Honduhs

Those cheap assed POS all rusted away from the inside out.

Makes a teener look rust free

And a teener is WAAYY more reliable.

They say the same things about VWs as you say about Hondas...

They can say what they want.

I've owned both in the same beach environment, and the VW's are way better than the Honduhs.

Honduhs reputation in Florida was a car to avoid. Nothing rusted faster.

In fact, it's the only car I ever saw where the front windshield pillar (next to the front windshield) rusted in half on the drivers side from the inside out. That will ruin yer day in a rollover.....

I'm with the Dodge Dart slant 6 crowd. The only way to kill it is lack of oil.
Datsun "L" engines are amazing as well.
