It wasn't too exciting once we got stuck behind traffic. shades.gif

Earlier in the run, there were actually a couple times when the back end of the 916 cut loose. Watch the first video closely and you will see one of those times. With proper tires mounted... blink.gif

I have never ridden with someone who actually had the experience driving one of these cars at its limit - until this ride. I can't say if George was driving at 9/10ths or 3/10ths but, for me, it was an absolute blast aktion035.gif

Cool. Much tamer driving smile.gif
Whose 914 was the camera in? Inside the car is definitely the place to put the camera - no wind noise, picks up the engine sounds, and voices are muted. Wish I'd done it that way for the 916 videos.

Will edit more to post from on Skyway. I want to see Fri PM video with Chris leading Scotty and me down the dragon. The 44 had cameras mounted front and rear.

JT has a big six with Supertrapps and a rear spoiler. The exterior is dark blue.
He had his own camera setup, not Gopro.

Ken, I watched your videos from before the event in the 911. You had some good open road to play with then.

Hey Chris,

We did have some really open spots back in Sept. on both the Dragon and Cherahala.

I was in my 914 tho not a 911 biggrin.gif ...Shoe was driving a Boxster and we had another friend along in his M3. Steven used a us129 photo from then to do up the generic poster car..

I'm guessing ScottyB and Shoe both have good GoPro video to post from MUSR??

I wasn't sure. I didn't look at your dash at the event, so I didn't equate the 5 gauges with a 914. The wide angle lens of the camera makes the windshield look curved more like a 911 too.
I did notice the Boxster both in front of and behind you.

I don't know why the video started breaking up like it did. Viewing straight from the memory device on the computer it doesn't do that. It must be my crappy video card in the lap top....need to get a better computer......I was going to post the youtube video but it was not as good of quailty as I demand......Thanks for putting it up though Chris.....

Seeing the 916 in action is crazy cool! There are very few people who would be brave enough to take such a rare car out on the road so here is to George. I just wish that I could have seen it in person. Thanks for posting the videos.
