Look at the rest of the wiring diagram. It's available on the Bird Board, I believe.

It can plug into either rear connector. Also makes an easy way to crank the engine. Just feed power there and the starter engages.

idea.gif If the coil and that rear connector get 12v, it's gonna start ?
