Sometimes a MPS adjustment is needed to richen things up a tad.

My wife's 2056 is running D-Jet with stock cam and no adjustments to the MPS....but, we are at 4600'.
Bleyseng
witha stock cam no adjustment is needed but if you switch to a Raby 9550 cam then you need to adjust the MPS to set the AFR.

2056
Raby 9550 cam
RAby lifters and valve train kit
115hp!

-RAT 9550 valve train kit
-RAT 96mm cylinder and piston kit from KB
- 8-9:1 CR dependent upon operating elevation, deck height set to no more than .045
-42X36 valves in stock, non ported 2.0/914 heads (or RAT LE 180 3 stud heads)

This combo currently nets around 120 FWHP and around 130 lb/ft of torque. It'll net around 100 RWHP on a chassis dyno, about the same on torque. With the LE 180 heads we are seeing 130HP and 140 TQ at the flywheel.

Its all in the combo. Goof it up and it won't be tunable, stock EFI is very particular to every alteration made to the engine. This combo is exceptionally proven and has been applied for over a decade :-)
The engine will run cooler, will make more power and will average better fuel economy through increased efficiency.
