I just purchased some Bolt on Valve covers and I'm planning on installing them this weekend. They come with C Channel gaskets.
I've seen some of these on bugs and I like the fact that the gasket is secured onto the cover.
Anyone have experience with these?
Thanks

Hey Frank, I hate to say it, but do a search here for them. Last I recall, they were not looked upon highly due to leaks and such. However, I think that they can be made to work well. I, too, like the idea of bolt on with gaskets retained.

How many leaks do you want?

What the hell, put em on as long as you already have em. Then you can speak from experience. I wonder how many others who put em down really speak from experience?

I've had mine on since '96 and if installed correctly they don't leak. Each time I remove them for valve adjustments I use the std. cork gasket, sealant on the cover side only, let set for appox. an hour then install them...No leaks
